Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated · October 2026

Overview

This policy explains what information we collect when you use navigatio.net and how we handle it. We aim to collect only what we need to respond to you and operate the site.

Information we collect

Details you submit through our forms (such as name, email, and message), and standard analytics about how the site is used.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiries, schedule calls, send communications you request, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure traffic, Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are used, and Leadfeeder to identify the companies that visit. None of them store anything on your device until you accept, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer.

Business contacts we research: who we are

Navigatio B.V. (Rijnlaan 227, 3522 BL Utrecht, the Netherlands, KvK 78344999) provides B2B research services. We identify companies and decision-makers that match our clients’ target profiles and deliver this information to our clients for business-to-business contact. For this activity, Navigatio acts as an independent data controller.

Business contacts we research: what data we process

We process business contact data only: full name and job title; employer, company website and company details (size, location, industry, funding information, public job postings); business email address; and LinkedIn profile URL. We do not collect private contact details, such as personal phone numbers or private email addresses, and we do not collect special categories of personal data.

Business contacts we research: where the data comes from

Publicly available sources, such as company websites, public LinkedIn profiles, public job postings, press releases and funding databases, and third-party B2B data providers that supply business contact information.

Business contacts we research: why and on what legal basis

We process this data to identify professionals whose role is relevant to our clients’ products and services, so that our clients can contact them about business matters. Our legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): our interest and our clients’ interest in business-to-business communication. We limit the data to information about your professional role, and you can object at any time.

Business contacts we research: who receives the data

Our clients receive the data for their own business outreach and act as independent controllers. They are required to inform you about their processing when they first contact you, including that Navigatio is the source of the data. Service providers, such as hosting, data enrichment and email verification providers, support our work under agreements that protect your data. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Business contacts we research: how long we keep the data

We keep business contact data for up to 24 months after it was last updated, unless you ask us to delete it earlier.

Business contacts we research: your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing, or to stop processing it altogether (right to object). If you object, we stop processing your data. We keep only a minimal record of your name and email address so that we do not collect your data again. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). To exercise your rights or ask a question, email hello@navigatio.net.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
